TERMS OF SERVICELast Updated: January 1, 20261. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By downloading, installing, or using Threat-Watch ("The Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.
Threat-Watch is operated by Konstantinos Chatzistavrou ("The Developer"), located in Greece.2. NATURE OF SERVICE (WE ARE NOT AN ANTIVIRUS)
IMPORTANT: THREAT-WATCH IS A PASSIVE INTELLIGENCE TOOL, NOT A SECURITY SUITE.
By using this Application, you acknowledge and agree that:
* No Active Protection: The Application is NOT an antivirus, firewall, or intrusion prevention system (IPS). It does not scan your files for malware, block network traffic, or actively prevent cyberattacks.
* Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for maintaining active security measures on your devices. The Developer is not responsible for any infection or compromise that occurs while using this tool.3. USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE & DATA TRANSFORMATION
The Application utilizes Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models (including but not limited to Google Gemini) to process, summarize, and analyze Threat Intelligence data.
* AI Accuracy: AI models can "hallucinate" or produce inaccurate results. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any AI-generated summary, correlation, or analysis. You agree to verify all intelligence independently.
* Data Transformation: The Application aggregates public and third-party data and uses AI to transform this raw data into summaries and insights. This process is intended as Fair Use for research and analysis purposes.
* No Ownership of Original IP: The AI-generated content is derived from external sources. We do not claim ownership of the original underlying intelligence feeds. All rights to the original data remain with their respective creators.4. THIRD-PARTY DATA & AGGREGATION
The Application functions as an aggregator of public and third-party Threat Intelligence feeds.
* No Warranty of Data: We display data "as is." We cannot verify the accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of third-party feeds. If a third-party source identifies a safe IP as malicious (False Positive), we are not liable for any actions you take based on that error.
* Feed Availability: We do not guarantee the continued availability of any specific third-party feed.5. LICENSE GRANT
The Developer grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download and use the Application.
* Free Version: For personal or professional research use.
* Paid Subscription: Required for advanced features. Purchasing a subscription does not grant you ownership of the software code.6. "AS IS" DISCLAIMER (NO WARRANTY)
THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Application will meet your requirements or that its operation will be uninterrupted.7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
YOU USE THIS SOFTWARE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
In no event shall the Developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including:
* Data Loss: Loss of your local investigation history or database corruption.
* Security Breaches: Any malware infection or hack that occurs on your system.
* Financial Loss: Loss of profits arising from reliance on the aggregated data.
MAXIMUM LIABILITY: The Developer's total liability to you for any claims arising out of this agreement shall be limited to the amount you paid for the Application in the 12 months preceding the claim. If you are a Free user, liability is limited to €1.00.8. PAYMENTS, REFUNDS & TAXES
* Merchant of Record: Payments are processed by third-party resellers (e.g., Lemon Squeezy, Google Play, or Apple). You are purchasing the license from them, not directly from the Developer.
* Refunds: We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for web purchases. Store purchases are subject to the store's own refund policies.9. CHANGES TO TERMS AND SOFTWARE
* Updates to Software: The Developer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Application or any service to which it connects, with or without notice and without liability to you.
* Updates to Terms: We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms. Your continued use of the Application after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.10. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Greece. Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of these Terms shall be instituted exclusively in the courts of Athens, Greece.11. CONTACT INFORMATION
